ARHG Medical Provider Registration Process

The Australian Regional Health Group Ltd was established in 1995 by a small group of not-for-profit health insurance funds.

Our primary function is to establish contracts with hospitals on behalf of our member funds - St Luke's Health (Tas), Latrobe Health Services (Vic), Hunter Health Insurance (Cessnock District Health Benefits Fund) (NSW) and Mildura Health Fund (Vic).

ARHG also manages the medical provider information needed to pay benefits on behalf of members across all of our funds.

ARHG collect and manage relevant information about medical providers and make it available via a datafile, which our funds upload into their benefit payment systems. The information we hold in our database includes the provider number, practice address, email address, phone numbers and banking details of registered medical providers.

Your information now only needs to be provided to ARHG, rather than four individual funds.

The personal information requested when you register or update your details for the Medical Gap Cover Scheme is collected for the purposes of facilitating the Medical Gap Cover Scheme for our funds. For more information about how ARHG manages your personal information, please refer to ARHG’s privacy policy. ARHG’s privacy policy contains information about how you can access or correct your personal information, or make a privacy complaint.
